Is it just me.....
- I read yesterday about the unfortunate couple who have had their caravan stolen. I congratulate the police on finding it - another crime well solved - which is bound to help the local Police Commissionaire justify his existence. However, the fact that the owners cannot have their stolen caravan back because of the rights of the people living in it is ridiculous to say the least. If someone unwittingly buys a stolen car it has to be returned to the owner irrespective of how much a person has paid for it or how long they have thought they had owned it for. Why one rule for one and not another?
- As a supposedly national news organ the on line version of The Daily Mail seems to be intent on continuing its downward spiral over recent months, (some would say years), by headlining a story about what women wore to the beach 100 years ago. Is it just me that thinks this is a waste of space and is yet another reason to 'can' the Daily Mail and switch to a more informative, relevant knowledgeable news feeds such as the Daily Express - or dare I say it, the Sun!. It may be that the Mail's excellent sports writers are the Mail's only saving grace. By the way, checking out the coverage, particularly of the Z list of so called female stars, a change of name to The Daily FEm,ail may be in order! This again is garbage editorial - come on Daily Mail - wakey wakey. You need to up your game!
- Don't know about you but I cannot wait to read about the next major BBC decision. Will it be bunging a nobody with a million quid or so to get rid of... maybe another highly paid job will be offered via the 'old boys network' or even yet another scandal to be covered up. It seems no body can get a grip on things here. I am of the opinion that the BBC now must rival FIFA as one of the best known corrupt organisations in the world. This service is run by public money. Money the public have to pay by law. Why are the public not getting the value it should be getting from the millions being poured in. There is now too much wrong with this service and a complete strip down and massive changes should be undertaken. No cover ups and any con jobs or fiddles need to be investigated and prosecutions made and money returned to the public.
